You can use the National (Fixed) layout in Borno, which follows the same mapping as Bijoy. Additionally, Borno supports ANSI (Bijoy) encoding—simply press Ctrl + Alt + B to switch to ANSI mode and type in your favorite legacy software like Photoshop or Illustrator.

I use Avro, how can I migrate to Borno?

Borno comes with a built-in Avro Phonetic layout. Just switch your layout to Avro in the Topbar and keep typing exactly as you did before.

Is Borno Voice Typing paid?

No. Borno and all its flagship features, including Voice Typing via SyncType, are completely free of cost for everyone.

Does Borno send my keystrokes to a server?

No. Privacy is our top priority. Borno processes all suggestions and transliteration locally on your device. We do not collect or send your keystrokes to any server.

How secure is Borno Voice Typing?

Borno Voice Typing uses the Google Speech Recognition Service to convert your speech to text. The converted text is processed locally, and Borno does not store, record, or analyze your speech data or keystrokes.
